A quick post (Check out these blogs)

Just a quick post here since I’m tired. (Just drove back from Vegas.)

A fellow ProvoCreative member, Warren Workman, just got a job with the Las Vegas Film School. They offer online film classes at www.learnfilmonline.com. Even if you don’t take any classes from them, I recommend taking a look at their site. They maintain a pretty interesting blog with tips and tricks especially for filmmakers. I really enjoyed the blog post on jobs, which talks about how finding work is all in your head. Forget what everyone is telling you about the economy, and get to work! It’s got a few good pointers on finding jobs, too.

Also, check out

this very entertaining look at 7 filmmakers and their 7 deadly sins…er, fetishes, by Stu Maschwitz, keeper of the blog known as ProLost. The funniest one is about Philip Bloom, and how he shudders at the thought of an eyelash being in focus (he loves his bokeh, as well he should…he’s got a lot of super fast, super-nice glass!)

Just trying to pass along useful information as I stumble upon it…or should I say word press it….anyways, good night folks!
